Support for home transitions when things feel heavy.

Thoughtful, hands-on guidance for moments of change — handled with discretion and care.

This support is especially helpful if…

  • You’re coordinating a parent’s downsizing or move in Scottsdale or the greater Phoenix area and want trusted, hands-on support to manage decisions and details.

  • A home transition is happening because of health changes, aging, or loss, and you want the process handled with discretion and respect for lifelong belongings.

  • You live out of state and need a reliable local presence to help oversee a transition without rushing or unnecessary disruption.

  • You value a thoughtful, well-sequenced approach rather than a fast or one-size-fits-all solution.

I work with a very limited number of clients at a time to ensure care and attention.

How We Work Together

I work with individuals and families who need calm, practical support during home transitions that feel overwhelming or uncertain.

  • Making downsizing decisions without pressure

  • Sorting belongings with care and respect

  • Planning and sequencing moves so nothing feels rushed

  • Coordinating next steps and logistics thoughtfully

How I Work

I’m Summer Thurston, a consultant who works one-on-one with individuals and families during moments of change — particularly when a home and its contents feel overwhelming.

My approach is thoughtful and practical. I help clients slow things down, make clear decisions, and move forward at a pace that feels manageable. I offer guidance and hands-on support where it’s most helpful — without pressure or a one-size-fits-all process.

I bring an MBA in supply chain and logistics and years of experience managing complex operations involving furniture and physical goods. I apply that same discipline to home transitions — coordinating details, anticipating challenges, and bringing order to situations that can feel emotionally and logistically heavy.

I take particular care with lifelong possessions, supporting decisions in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and aligned with what comes next.

I welcome inquiries from attorneys, fiduciaries, and advisors when…

A client needs hands-on, local support to manage a residential transition while legal, trust, or financial matters are handled separately.

  • Household decisions and belongings require careful handling to reduce family tension, delays, or unnecessary stress.

  • Adult children are coordinating from out of state and need a reliable on-the-ground presence to carry out plans thoughtfully.

  • Clear sequencing, documentation, and follow-through matter so the transition does not create complications for broader estate or financial planning.

I work independently and collaboratively, respecting professional boundaries and existing advisory relationships.
